On 10th December we took part in the IT Academic Days conference organized throughout Poland by various .Net groups operating at universities all over Poland. The speakers were mainly representing two companies: Microsoft and Kaspersky Lab.
Peter Horsten, Goyello’s director, gave the presentation on “How to manage software development in a funky way?”
At Goyello we are always willing to share the knowledge and experiences with the students who are our potential business partners or employees. It is important that future software developers get the hint of what the project management will be like once they embark on the professional career.
The presentation focused on the practical approach and covered a number of day-to-day management issues related to software production, such as deadlines, request changes, client satisfaction and project failures. Peter Horsten outlined Agile methodology that has been applied in Goyello for almost 2 years now.
